We had a fantastic stay at Sol Ollantay Exclusive. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking - with the ruins and the sounds of the river right outside our balcony. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to restaurants, ruins, and the town square. The staff provided great service and even accommodated our request for a room heater. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Ollantaytambo.

Cheerful and fairly clean hotel, marvellous and fantastic location opposite a nice cafe. The room was nicely furnished, new-fashioned, and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Lots of facilities like: central heating, an individual safe and flat-screen television. Location short walk to Ollantaytambo ruins and the river and Inka and the train station where multiple train whistles could be heard all day. Nearby Kori quinua - great place to chill out.

This hotel has a great location, right above the river with views of the ruins. It's really great, just at the top of the hill and a ten-minute walk to the tourist train station that takes you to Machu Picchu. The rooms are nice and clean, facing the river and fortress. The breakfast is complimentary but sparse -- what one would expect of a local hotel in rural Peru -- with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, and eggs made to order.
Everything was fine.

The location and the garden as well as the always available hot water.
The fruits at breakfast were no longer fresh and caused vomiting and diarrhea. In addition, could not pay by card and for dollars, they had no change.
